AI infrastructure stocks have experienced sharp volatility over the past few weeks, and Forgent Power Solutions $FPS ( ▼ 1.49% ) has been no exception, with shares down 40% from all-time highs.

Despite the selloff, the company’s operational momentum remains remarkably strong, suggesting the market may be focusing more on valuation concerns than business fundamentals.

Unlike many AI infrastructure names, Forgent doesn’t manufacture GPUs, servers or networking equipment. Instead, it supplies one of the least replaceable pieces of the entire AI ecosystem—the electrical infrastructure that allows data centers to actually receive and distribute power.

As AI data centers become larger and more power-hungry, electricity—not GPUs—is increasingly becoming the industry’s biggest bottleneck. That shift could make the recent weakness an attractive buying opportunity for long-term investors. Here’s what you need to know about this under-the-radar AI name.

🧐 Investors may have abandoned the software space, but a handful of high-quality names have quietly outperformed both the broader market and AI stocks lately. One of my favorites — a healthtech stock largely ignored by most investors — has rallied over 80% so far this year, outperforming even the highest-flying AI names.

I'd been monitoring this name for some time before opening a position earlier this year. It remains one of my best-performing holdings and has been largely insulated from the AI selloff.
