The Physical AI trade has become one of the market’s hottest themes, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at Ouster $OUST ( ▲ 0.27% ). After an extraordinary rally earlier this year, the stock has fallen sharply from its highs and recently returned to levels last seen in August. Yet the underlying business continues moving in the opposite direction.

Customers are deploying more Ouster sensors, shipments are reaching records, revenue growth is accelerating and several partnerships suggest its technology is finding its way into everything from autonomous robots and agricultural equipment to drones and intelligent traffic systems.
Ouster provides something increasingly important to the Physical AI ecosystem: the ability for machines to understand the physical world around them. And as autonomous machines move from demonstrations into real-world deployment, demand for that capability could increase dramatically.
