Sezzle $SEZL ( ▼ 0.42% ) delivered another strong quarter earlier this month, yet the stock sold off sharply after earnings. At first glance, that reaction looks strange. The company beat expectations, raised guidance again, continued expanding its subscriber base and maintained strong profitability. But beneath the headline results, investors focused on a few softer signals: higher spending, lower sequential earnings and an outlook that implies slower growth during the second half. Those concerns are not completely unreasonable after the stock’s enormous run earlier this year. But the selloff may have gone too far.

$SEZL stock’s summer selloff

The underlying business continues to scale, credit performance remains healthy, subscriber engagement is improving and management is deliberately investing more aggressively in customer acquisition while returns remain attractive. At the same time, newer products are beginning to push Sezzle beyond traditional buy-now-pay-later and toward a broader consumer-finance platform. The recent correction has therefore created a much more interesting setup. Let’s take a closer look at what investors may be missing.

$LIME over the past 30 days

You may have missed it, but Lime ($LIME) — the scooter company — has become one of my favorite stocks lately. In last week's deep dive, I broke down my full thesis on this under-the-radar name and shared my price target for the year. The stock is up nearly 10% since then and has rallied nearly 50% over the past month — at a time when AI stocks have moved in the opposite direction.
